Where & When to shop

Dhaka has been divided into seven areas to maintain a schedule of weekly holidays. All markets of a specific area are remaining closed on a specific day except daily goods, medicine and food courts. Markets are being closed for the whole day once in a week and for the half day (till 2pm) in another day. And on others day, markets remain opened from morning to 8pm. Goods available include wines and spirits, perfumes, cigarates, hi-fi stereo and audio-visual equipments like T.V., Radio, Tape Recorder, VCR, VCP, VCD Players, Cameras, Watches and a range of household appliances. All purchases must be paid for in foreign currency.
